WRC working on AGROSH+ project

WRC are partners in the AGROSH+ project. This project, funded by the Erasmus+ programme, is developing training courses and training materials for organisations in the agriculture and agrifood sectors. They are intended for use by occupational physicians and safety professionals operating in the area.

Running between September 2016 and August 2018, the project will deliver and test these materials in the participating countries – Romania, Bulgaria, Greece and Ireland. A dissemination event will be held in Dublin in April 2018.

European Network for Workplace Health Promotion (ENWHP) launches return to work guidelines

The ENWHP has just launched European Guidelines on Return to Work for people with chronic illnesses, including mental health problems. These guidelines are aimed at managers in enterprises and they provide a practical guide to ensuring that the employee has the best possible chance of successfully returning to work. Produced by the PhWork project, the guide is called "Promoting healthy work for workers with chronic illness: A guide to good practice", is easy to read and discusses the following topics:

In-Diversity project launched

17 September 2012

 

WRC launched the LdV sponsored In-Diversity project on the 17th of September at The Burlington Hotel in Dublin. Attended by a range of stakeholders in diversity management, the audience heard Dr. Richard Wynne and Isabelle Jeffares present the main products of the project - a toolkit for managers who want to employ migrants and an e-learning course on diversity management.
