2003 -IRL/03/B/F/PP-153103
Programme: Leonardo da Vinci, European Commission
DiManT is a 24 month pilot project being undertaken by partners from Ireland, Greece, the Netherlands and Poland. It targets the development of practices to facilitate access to employment for people most disadvantaged in the labour market.
Project aims
- To identify existing tools for the development and implementation of diversity policy in the workplace.
- To generate requirements on the needs for enhanced tools in the area.
- To field test the diversity management toolkit.
- To disseminate the toolkit widely to policy makers, trainers and practitioners.
- To develop an on-line version of the training course and toolkit and a European Website for diversity management.
The toolkit will address the needs of minorities in gaining access to employment by training people who either directly or indirectly facilitate access to employment. The project will train significant stakeholders who are responsible for the integration of marginalised groups. These stakeholders include: Human Resource Managers, Trade Unions and Policy Makers in the workplace.
